To become a Certified Fiji Matai Specialist:
• Study our Matai Agent Curriculum.
• Complete the application form.
• Pay a registration fee of USD$85 (two payment options).
• Take the test.
Matai Curriculum
The online/PDF format Matai Curriculum is divided into eleven sections.
Sections 1 through 3 comprise of general info about Fiji. Sections 4 through 11 contain specific info on products and services available.
You have the option of studying the materials online or you can download the PDF format files and study at your leisure.
Application Form
This form is designed to gather all your contact info that will be incorporated into the website as well as into our database. A passport sized photograph is also required.

Fees
There is a registration fee to pay and you are given two payment options:
1. Check (USD$85.00) or
2. Visa/Mastercard credit cards only (USD$88.00 includes 3% c/c fee rounded off)
Test
Once we have processed your payment you will be issued a “User Name” and “Password” to access the testing site. The entire test is administered online and needs to be completed online.
Firstly is an 80 question test covering topics and information presented in the Matai Agent Curriculum. We strongly recommend that you print the test and fill in the answers before attempting to do so online. Do not send in your printed multi-choice test. You will need to achieve 100% pass online before you will be asked to write two brief essays on travel to Fiji.
After you submit these essays, we will review them and inform you as to your status. A Certificate and Matai ID Card will be issued upon successful assessment of your essay.
